He continued contributing behind the scenes across multiple projects, including consulting on IK++ until 2021, before stepping away due to health issues. Dropzone was created as a personal homage to Defender, one of Archer’s favourite arcade games. But it quickly evolved into something far more ambitious.

As a lone jetpack-equipped soldier, players had to defend Jupiter’s moon while rescuing stranded scientists and battling relentless alien waves. It was a game of speed, skill and split-second decision-making.
